Our Story
COMAG Steel & Construction Company Ltd, a Nigerian firm, was established in 1990 under the country’s federal laws. The company started its operations in the same year, focusing on the importation of general steel products, distribution, and supply to Oil and Gas companies, as well as other Construction and Engineering companies in Nigeria. By year 2000, the company had expanded its services to include Engineering and Construction for both formal and informal sectors, particularly Oil & Gas companies.
The foundation of COMAG Steel is built on principles of business integrity, ethical conduct, and delivering high-quality services to its customers. In a short span since its inception, the company has amassed a diverse clientele, including Oil Industries, multinational engineering construction firms, Federal and State Government agencies. It has also become a significant importer and stockist of certified steel and structural steel materials.
Operated by a team of experienced professionals with expertise in procurement, logistics, and engineering construction, COMAG Steel & Construction Company Ltd is committed to delivering top-tier services to its clients promptly.
The company has a track record of success in providing quality services to National and International Oil & Gas companies, supplying structural steel materials, and fabricating drilling pipes, line pipes, and fittings. COMAG has broadened its service offerings to include Civil Engineering and Construction, providing Engineering, Design, and Construction services to various entities such as Oil & Gas companies. This includes constructing access roads to Oil Facilities and preparing site locations.
COMAG has successfully executed numerous Road Projects for Federal, State, and Local Government Agencies, as well as donor agencies like the World Bank. Its venture into advanced Civil Engineering Service delivery led to the acquisition of a Batch-Mix Asphalt Plant and also maintains a fully operational material testing laboratory at all its site bases.
